Sainte-Hélène is a town in south-western France, in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It lies in the heart of the Médoc, more precisely in the Lande Médoquine, and therefore belongs to the natural and historical region of the Médoc. The town's mascot is the esquirot, which means “squirrel” in Gascon.
